We can file one of the following restraining orders on your behalf in response to the domestic violence situation you are enduring and to promote your safety:
- Temporary restraining order, issued by family law courts, lasting anywhere from three weeks to three years
- Permanent restraining order, usually lasting three to five years
- Emergency protective order, maximum of five days, issued by law enforcement
